 Community Meeting – Wyangala

Cowra Council is reviewing the Village Action Plan and wants to hear from the community.

A consultation meeting will be held at Wyangala Country Club on Thursday 26 March at 4:00pm.

All community members are encouraged to attend, share ideas for improvements to the village, and raise any concerns. Your input helps shape the future of our community – hope to see you there!

There is government funding available for a range of purposes and amounts. We'd like to get Wyangala community feedback on whether we apply for the grants and if we do, what projects you'd like to see funded.

We'd like to hear your ideas for projects to improve the Club and village area that could be funded by grants.

Energy Efficiency Grants for SMEs

In August 2024, the Club was the successful recipient of a $24,800 grant under the ‘Energy Efficiency Grants for SMEs Round 2 – NSW grant’ from the Australian  Commonwealth Government Department of Industry,  Science and Resources. 

The Club replaced its gas hot water system with two heat hump hot water systems that are CO2 greenhouse neutral.

The Club is very grateful to the government for the funding that has enabled us to install an environmentally sustainable system that will reduce energy costs.

2023 New Additions

The Wyangala Country Club is grateful for the support of Steph Cooke MP’s office for a Community Building Partnerships grant to provide capital equipment.

A mower and dishwasher were purchased in February 2023.

Matt Morrison Oval Facilities Upgrade 2022

The works were proudly supported by the NSW Government from the Stronger Country Communities Fund.

The Club is grateful to the NSW Government for the grant of $57,000 to upgrade the facilities. The project was completed in October 2022.
